Job Description

The Driver will transport technicians, tools, spare- parts, goods, and other merchandise from one location to another. The diver will be responsible for helping technicians with their duties by lifting tools on-site and carrying them from and to the vehicle. Supervisory Responsibilities: None.  Duties/Responsibilities: Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day.A loads delivery vehicle with tools for scheduled maintenance work. Delivers technicians to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt, when necessary, from customers. Picks up spare parts along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested. Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made. Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor. Assists in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed.Help technicians with your duties by lifting tools on-site and carrying them from and to the vehicle. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to drive safely.Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.Ability to plan delivery routes. Ability to maintain basic logs and records.Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision. Able to remain professional and courteous at all times. Education and Experience: Valid Qatari driver’s license and clean driving record.  Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift to 50 pounds regularly.Must be able to load and unload tools with and without dollies in various types of weather.Working Hours: Six days a week during which there will be eight hours a day of work with the possibility of being paid overtime depending on work load.Note: The probation period is Six months during which the offered package is subjected to change based on the worker’s performance.
